Historically, revenue to fund operations has come from the selling of burial plots for “perpetual care”. However it can be readily seen that a plot sold in the 1880″s for $85. has long since ceased to be self funding. Still with periodic increases in the price of burial lots   and other services, the company holds to the principle of “perpetual care”.

Malvern Cemetery Company receives occasional bequests and over the years and has developed a modest investment portfolio to provide other revenue. Unfortunately in a time of low interest rates, secure investments contribute less and operation funding is more challenging.

For the past 5 years we have conducted a financial campaign which has made it possible to meet our obligations and keep up a good standard of care and protection. However, we do recognize the need to reach further to descendants, friends and family members to be sure that the quality of care evident at Malvern is not compromised.

The needs keep increasing and so must our outreach efforts.

We would be grateful for any donation and as a registered charity, we are able to offer tax receipts after all donations have been received.
